If it wasn't for your support and for believing in us, we wouldn't of achieved our dreams of sharing our love for the game this year. We are going to take a break for now due to other soccer commitments, but will hopefully return in term 3 in 2018. Keep up the great work, and keep practising the skills you have learnt this year. If they haven't been booked into what we feel is comfortable for them, they will be moved to a stage that will be more beneficial.</div><div>3. Is it just playing a soccer game?</div><div>It's all back to basics training, getting them using both of their feet, and a better understanding of controlling the ball, rather than just playing a game. It’s all about the player rather than the team. Without this how can you hope to play?</div><div>Stage 2 Once enough ball control has been established (not necessarily all), the next stage up is to take that control and movement and to give it some purpose in a more game like scenario. </div><div>Stage 3 For those who have the ball at their command, we will move on to combination play and how to integrate yourself into a team, how to think, and how to see the game in a better way.</div><div>Consider this... it is all about the player and how to work on the skills that will make them a better player. There is no point over loading anyone if they struggle with their first touch. For certain aspects, age comes into play and will certainly be an initial guide to where to put players, but it will not be the final thought. If a player needs to take some time with developing a technique, then let them do so. Born in England, he started playing at a very young age, and with history repeating itself today, coaching his own sons, he was fortunate to be coached by his dad. In his teen years, he played for Watford FC and was offered a spot at West Ham United, but when he reached 16/17yrs of age he decided to step away from the game and focus on his education. Since then he has played amateur football/soccer for local clubs keeping involved in the game he loves. Adam started coaching 5 years ago, and in that time, he has coached 10 teams, both youth and senior.
